Honor Guard Ball weekend

We had quite an exciting weekend two weeks ago. After a wonderful Friday morning (a gel manicure and coffee with a great friend)  Kenneth and I went to eat at the Chart House in Old Town. Talk about awesome! We got some great seafood, and the most delicious chocolate and Reese's cup dessert you could ever imagine. Our waitor told us he had never seen someone clean the plate so well, leave it to us! The pictures are really dark but it was one of those super swanky places where you were supposed to act like you weren't raised in a barn, which includes not taking pictures of your food, but don't worry that didn't stop me.

All the trees in Old Town are covered in Christmas lights, and driving home that night felt like a fairy tale. The next day Kenny was in a parade and we went to the HG ball that night! We had a blast! The food was great, we got to see our friends and Kenny got to pretend that he was Lady GaGa on the dance floor. Oh, and I got to dress up, I love dressing up! We danced for a while, and sang at the top of our lungs and went home exhausted. The next morning I woke up hoarse, thinking I harmed my pretty little vocal chords on the dance floor. Then Kenny woke up the next morning feeling awful and we went to the doctor. We were so sick with sinus infections and bronchitis but Kenny got two days off of work. I wish I could tell you we lived life to the fullest those to days but all we did was sleep, watch Netflix and eat chicken noodle soup.

My family came for Spring Break this past week, there is so much more blogging to be done, plus a trip to IKEA! I miss my family, but life with Kenny is so wonderful!
