A Year In Review

This time last year I was having my hair teased by Tanya Jones while Kitty took embarrassing pictures of me. Honestly I am not even sure where to take this post so we will just see what happens. So much has happened in the last year. 

Vowed my life away to this fine fellow

Became the second tallest member in this family 

Spent a week in the Bahamas as husband and wife

Became one of those crazy military spouses

Packed up our life drove 14 hours to our new life and home. Cried the entire way.

Moved to the nation's capital

 Our family grew +1. Our first furry, four legged son. 

My twin brother got married

Went a lot of new places, made a lot of memories, saw a lot of good friends

 Made some new friends

 Moved twice

Oh and not to mention, painted everything white...

Our wedding was perfect and everything about that day went wonderfully. All thanks to my mom who planned every last detail and probably took years off her life making sure everything was perfect for us. Not to mention the rest of my family who worked like slaves that whole month really. Moving so far away makes me more thankful than ever for the super close relationships within my family.

It has been the craziest/busiest year; but by far the best year of my life. I fall more in love with Kenny everyday and look forward to serving him and loving him until the day I die. Life is an adventure with him and no two days are ever the same. Being a wife is what I was made to do. There is something about having a peace and a confidence knowing you are exactly where God wants you day in, day out. For me, that is with Kenny. (There is also something wonderful about answering; "What do you do?" with "I am a fabulous wife and homemaker." Everyone laughs; even though I am totally serious.) Who am I that the Lord let me spend all my days with as sweet a fella as Kenny B?! I'm more in love with my groom today than I was last year. Love really does grow. Such a cool thing to experience.
