So You Think You Can Dance!!

When I got back form my trip home my sweet husband had gotten us tickets to the So You Think You Can Dance show in VA! For those of you who don't know, the show is like an American Idol for dancers. They do al different styles of dancers and you vote for them and someone goes home every week. It is not Kenny's favorite show but I absolutely love it. I watched it last year with my friends Mo and Martie and we were obsessed. You could find us on Mo's sofa eating a Chik-fil-a spicy chicken sandwich and glued to the TV. Just so you can get a taste for what the show is like here are a few of my favorite dances:

This one is about addiction and it is so powerful. You can really tell just how hard addiction is to overcome through this dance.

Those are from past seasons. This season my favorite from the beginning was Melanie. She is the cutest, spunkiest little thing. Here are some of her awesome dances:

So, now that I have pumped you up, Kenny and I got to go watch them do a couple of the best dances of the season plus some new ones! It was AWESOME!!

Then afterwards we waited outside for an hour to meet the top ten!! It was awesome!! Most of the people who waited were thirteen year old girls.. and us. The girls would scream bloody murder when one of them walked up. People were getting shoes, posters, t-shirts and body parts signed. We didn't want an autograph (I don't like random pieces of paper clogging up the house as you know) and we only wanted a picture with our favorites, so when some of them walked up we were just like, "hey, what's up" while the girls around us acted like Jesus himself was there and signing autographs. It was a little awkward but hilarious. We were at the front of the line for my one true love Melanie. Of course she was the last dancer we got to meet but totally worth the wait.

I was not star struck at all until she made her rounds. I just want to be her best friend, is that too much to ask for? For now, a picture will suffice. I look a little teary in this picture,I promise I wasn't crying though.

An action packed night for sure, one for the record books.
