Friday night we spent hours packing up the car for a big fun camping trip to head out bright and early Saturday morning. Weekend of woods + friends + dogs = so exciting. Saturday morning Kenny woke up feeling like death was knocking so we had to bail and spent all of Saturday watching the first four Harry Potter movies and slept. That night we peeled off the sofa and cooked up a big dinner, after all we burned a lot of calories watching HP.
We had another Pinterest dilemma. We looked at desserts right before dinner time, big mistake. The result: Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Pound Cake. My first pound cake, so you will notice the sides are missing because I burned them right off. Once the sides were off it was delicious.
Two randoms from the week:
A car covered in reflectors. Don't see that everyday. Only at Moe's.
Also, this morning I woke up to this. Kitty, Jake and Julia tagged me in some group text and they were just chatting away. Only in my family.
Also, here is the progress of the honeymoon scrapbook. Buh-bye kitchen table.
Please watch this. It's hilarious. We went to walk around the dock on Fort Belvoir and forgot the dogs leashes so they had to stay in the car. We walked for maybe 5 minutes. Listen closely to Nelly pitching the largest fit.

And last but certainly not least, this Thursday at midnight we are going to see the last Harry Potter movie. We are so excited!!! But it is a little bittersweet. I was 12 when my six grade teacher read the first one to the class during reading time. And now it is all about to end. I guess next stop is Universal Studios in Orlando for The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. (Hint Hint KAB:))
Friday night we fly into Birmingham. Then it is off to the beach!! If I don't post for a while it is because I am laying on the beach listening to the waves roll in!
