Yesterday I was walking along in the thrift store, minding my business when out of a musty smelling thrift store, flash, bam alacazam, wonderful you came byyyyyyy. Let me explain, a couple months ago I was reading a decorating blog and saw the coolest bedside table. It was vintage suitcases stacked on top of each other. I reconfirmed my love for that look when I saw a picture on Pinterest. But, that being said, vintage suitcases are hard to find, and if you can find them, they are expensive. So, while I was wandering around the thrift store, I saw these beauties. $15 a piece. The heavens opened. The light beam came down. The hallelujah chorus sung by the seraphim and cherubim angels rang through my ears. A coat of white paint and these beauties are looking fly.
I was so caught up in the fumes of the white paint I decided to paint another little treasure Ken found at a garage sale for 10 buckaroos.
Glued some old fabric on him to give him a little character and boom shakca lacka. He is going to be a side table for a bed we are going to get tomorrow for the guest room. So, come visit!
That's all for now. Don't you just love white.
Maaaannnn, I love it!
